A) Invented by Louis-Jaques-Mande Daguerre and was introduced worldwide in 1839. B) The process involved using camera obscura and a highly polished silver plate and then mercury vapor to give the finishing touches of the picture. C) A) Sir John Herschel discovered the procedure in 1842.
B) The chemicals involved in the cyanotype process are potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate. C) First, we took our negative and put a yellow piece of paper on one side and on the other side we put a piece of glass and pushed the two together. Then we exposed it to the sun for about 5 minutes and after that we dipped it into a tub of water that was mixed with hydrogen peroxide. After you let the picture soak in the water for about a minute, you can take it out and it should look bright blue.
